Summer of 2019, I was able to realize my dream to travel to Japan through the study abroad program of FIU's Honors College. I spent about a month immersing myself in the Japanese culture, visiting the cities of Matsuyama, Hiroshima, Sapporo, Akan, and Tokyo. We went to study the culture, and interact with the natives of Japan, the Ainu. This trip was everything I expected and more.
