REL3308: Studies of World Religions
This course focused on the various world religions, such as African religions(voodoo), Shintoism, Judaism, Native American Religions, agnosticism, etc. The group discussions were very informative and engaging. People shared their personal beliefs, and there was no judgment. It is not common that there can be a discussion about religion without any arguments, but this class didn't invoke any. This class informed me of the many other religions out there, how they are connected, and their complexity. I learned about religious diversity around the world, the history of religions, their place in modern society, and the issues that shaped their creation.
WOH2001: World Civilization
This class opened up a whole new part of history for me. We went more in depth on the history of civilizations that preceded the current ones. I wrote comparative analyses on the development of major civilizations, the factors within their environment that helped shape their civilization, and the factors that created conflict between civilizations, such as Westernization.
